Creamy Chicken & Rice Skillet (Easy One-Pan Dinner)

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup uncooked rice

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 1 cup sliced carrots

  • ½ cup shredded cheese

  • ¾ cup cream

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning



🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare the ChickenCut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  2. Cook the ChickenHeat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Cook the RiceIn the same skillet, add the uncooked rice. Stir for 1–2 minutes to lightly toast it, then add water or broth according to your rice package instructions. Cover and cook until rice is tender.

  4. Add the VeggiesStir in carrots and broccoli. Cover and cook for 5–7 minutes until vegetables are tender.

  5. Make It CreamyReduce heat to low. Add the cream, shredded cheese, and cooked chicken back into the skillet. Stir until everything is well combined and creamy.
